It is one of the oldest departments of the institute, offering a fine blend of experience and innovation in teaching in First Year. It has huge infrastructure, fully developed Labs, a separate library with wide range of collections and a large fleet of highly experienced faculty.

With a strong team of senior and experienced faculty together with young, dynamic faculty members, department is committed to excellence in teaching and outcome based learning. Our focus is to produce engineers equipped with modern Engineering tools/techniques and universal human values with strong understanding towards real world and engineering problems.

STC on “Managing Yourself”

The program is targeted towards the development of the faculty of various Universities, Engineering Colleges and Polytechnic Colleges. This course was specially designed for developing interest among the faculty of Applied Science and Humanities

J-Techtrix

J-Tectrix is basically a technical event in which every team of students show their creativity. It’s a competition which test your ability to think and express your creativity and imagination. It is providing a platform to students to explore their creativity. In this events students presents their science and technical projects with some new technology.

JECRC TechnoAds

JECRC TechnoAds is basically a technical event in which every team will be assigned a product to design a logo. Teams whose logos will be selected after scrutiny are allowed to participate in the next round. In the second round, the team has to make a tagline for the product and prepare a jingle for that product. The team has to perform a jingle within the time limit of 3 minutes.

Kalakriti

Kalakriti provides a chance to students to show their creativity. It’s a competition which test your ability to think and express your creativity and imagination. It is providing a platform to students to explore their creativity. We will provide each team with some basic craft items and a suspense material (an absolute waste material) to make something creative based on the given theme.
In addition to proper use of materials, creativity and imagination, judgement would also be based on cleanliness.
